As per National Nutrition Bureau (NNMB) that provides data on nutritional status in India suggested that there was rapid decline in Calcium rich food intake in both urban and rural areas and also across socio-economic strata's as well. When Calcium deficiency occurs, the body starts absorbing Calcium from the bones and if this continues for longer time results in Bone mass loss and ultimately leads to Osteoporosis “ porous Bone. A condition which is often associated with Calcium deficiency. Chronic Calcium deficiency also result in bone and teeth deformation.
